摘要: Separators with excellent physical and electrochemical performances are in urgent demand for higher power-density energy-density lithium ion batteries (LIBs). This implies that these separators must possess high porosity, thin thickness, a large electrolyte uptake, good thermal stability mechanical properties. Thus, it is difficult single component to satisfy all of requirements. Recently, composite membranes modified inorganic nanoparticles have attracted great interest as LIB separators, which show better than pure separators. In this article, recent advances, the main types, their manufacturing thoroughly reviewed, covering three important types: particle-coated membranes, particle-filled non-woven mats. The outlooks future direction also described review. review will hopefully stimulate more extensive insightful studies fabricating designing new performances.
