摘要: Physical and chemical variables, anostracan populations (Artemia parthenogenetica Branchinella spinosa) other biota were studied during 1996–1997 in a Camargue saltern (max. depth ∼1 m). The taxonomic composition density of macroinvertebrates investigated twice monthly, based on benthic substrate water column samples. Fauna was composed three groups terms numerical importance. represented only by nematodes ( 500 ind. m−2 November–December May respectively). zooplankton dominated crustaceans, one cladoceran, Moina salina (ranging from 670 to 2350 spring), two anostracans, Artemia (< 50 autumn), spinosa 190 December absent April), copepods, Cletocamptus retrogressus 2000 November), Eurytemora velox 650 February–March). Insects (Chironomidae, Culicidae) rare, with mean densities < 1 m−2. phenology each crustacean population is discussed relation physical variables. Salinity appeared be greatest importance regulating the abundance.
