Performance analysis of polychromatic laser guide stars used for wavefront tilt sensing

摘要: We present a formalism for performance analyses of adaptive optics systems that use polychromatic laser guide star to measure the tilt atmospherically distorted wavefronts. This can be applied feasibility and design studies tip-tilt are used make system telescope independent natural stars. Using few simplifying assumptions, results presented in analytical form such range parameters studied easily. Directions more detailed models necessitating numerical calculations also case in-depth certain aspects desired. Along with theoretical development, we examples possible solutions planned ELP-OA as well an implementation at large astronomical telescopes.
