摘要: Carbon dioxide (CO2) in sour natural gas can be removed using green technology via catalytic methanation reaction by converting CO2 to methane (CH4) gas. Using waste wealth concept, production of CH4 would increase as well creating environmental friendly approach for the purification In this research, a series alumina supported manganese–nickel oxide based catalysts doped with noble metals such ruthenium and palladium were prepared wetness impregnation method. The run screening process in-house built micro reactor coupled Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) spectroscopy study percentage conversion formation analyzed GC. Ru/Mn/Ni(5:35:60)/Al2O3 calcined at 1000 °C was found potential catalyst which gave 99.74% 72.36% 400 °C temperature. XRD diffractogram illustrated that polycrystalline some amorphous state calcination temperature presence NiO active site. According FESEM micrographs, both fresh used displayed spherical shape small particle sizes agglomerated aggregated mixture. Nitrogen Adsorption analysis revealed mesoporous structures BET surface area range 46–60 m2/g. All impurities have been presented FTIR, TGA–DTA EDX data.
