摘要: Rubber components are widely used in many fields because of their superior elastic properties. Fatigue failures, commonly encountered rubber components, however, remain a critical issue. In this study, the effect strain ratio R on fatigue life filled natural rubbers automotive mounts is investigated experimentally and numerically. A uniaxial tension/compression experiment was conducted dumb-bell cylindrical specimens subject to loads representing different ratios. The experimental data formulate two preliminary models based peak amplitude as damage parameters. deficiencies these predicting over wide range ratios discussed, an alternative prediction model proposed. proposed incorporates using equivalent amplitude. It shown that could effectively predict with improved accuracy.
