摘要: Re-Design for Robustness (RDR) represents a practical class of problems, where limited set components an existing product are re-designed to improve the overall robustness product. RDR is still common inefficient, expensive and time consuming industry ritual, component sensitivities sequentially analyzed altered with human experts in loop. In this paper, we introduce automated approach, wherein trade-off design variants (varying number components) spanning entire range feasibility performance identified using decomposition based evolutionary optimization algorithm. The benefits offered by approach highlighted two re-design problems from automotive industry.
