摘要: Abstract This review provides an overall description of Adsorptive Micellar Flocculation (AMF) with emphasis on water and wastewater treatment. extractive separation technique is based the use anionic surfactants flocculants (di-valent (M2+) or tri-valent (M3+) salt) to entrap adsorb hazardous organic pollutants. The unique amphiphilic structure surfactant molecules, micelle forming property, their ability interact other reagents have been evaluated discussed. Significance expressions calculated parameters are summarized. Furthermore, possible mechanistic pathways novel developments described step-wise. Work done different pollutants type flocculant used has also outlined. Special attention laid discussing effect efficiency process. Results recent experiments make it evident that about 90% removal achievable by AMF. Finally, we discussed potential advantages highlighted most suitable conditions for better performing this technique.
