摘要: Abstract The compositions of the essential oils leaf and stem bark Vernonia migeodii Moore (syn. courtetii O. Hoffm. et Muschl.) revealed some qualitative quantitative variation. were isolated by hydrodistillation analyzed for their constituents means gas chromatography (GC-FID) coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS). While oil was entirely sesquiterpenoid in composition (85.4%), monoterpenes sesquiterpenes occurred same quantity (ca. 43.5%) oil. major germacrene D (26.8%), β-caryophyllene (16.4%) caryophyllene oxide (6.0%). However, α-phellandrene (16.3%), (9.8%), (E)-β-farnesene (9.7%), (8.2%) (8.0%) predominated
