摘要: The auroral oval configuration during the quiet condition is examined in this paper. can be defined as very low Kp or AE index (i.e. ≤ 1 and 100 nT) northward interplanetary magnetic field. previous investigations are also reviewed here. On basis of electron precipitations, time characterized by spatially extended continuous precipitations poleward to above 80° geomagnetic latitude from normal equatorial boundary oval. This evident both statistically on case study basis. instantaneous was imaged optical consistent with particle precipitation configuration. Without any doubt that polar cap size diminishes widens condition, it believed so-called “sun-aligned arcs” manifestation arcs latitudinally expanded dawn dusk part emission intensity energy flux much weaker time.
