摘要: The expression of E-, N- and P-cadherin, α-, β- γ-catenin, actin was studied by immunohistochemistry, ELISA, Western blot analysis in normal prostates, the prostates men with benign prostatic hyperplasia carcinoma, order to evaluate their possible role pathogenesis these diseases. Present results reveal that immunophenotype hyperplastic differs from those both carcinomatous intracellular distribution (observed immunohistochemistry) intensity (measured ELISA) immunoreactions cadherins, catenins, actin. Hyperplastic differ form weaker immunoreaction three cadherin types, two actin, as well Differences between carcinoma are less marked because only α-catenin. most remarkable findings this study were: (1) α-catenin production elevated comparison prostate; (2) P-cadherin is reduced regard prostates. It may be concluded a decreased changes cells not necessarily suggestive malignancy, alterations also present BPH, thus, loss cadherin–catenin-mediated adhesion alone sufficient establish an invasive phenotype.
