Renal ischemia/reperfusion injury; from pathophysiology to treatment.

摘要: Ischemia/reperfusion injury (IRI) is caused by a sudden temporary impairment of the blood flow to particular organ. IRI usually associated with robust inflammatory and oxidative stress response hypoxia reperfusion which disturbs organ function. Renal IR induced acute kidney (AKI) contributes high morbidity mortality rate in wide range injuries. Although pathophysiology not completely understood, several important mechanisms resulting failure have been mentioned. In ischemic subsequent re-oxygenation, generation reactive oxygen species (ROS) at phase initiates cascade deleterious cellular responses leading inflammation, cell death, failure. Better understanding pathophysiological underlying will hopefully result design more targeted therapies prevent treatment injury. this review, we summarize some potential therapeutic approaches renal IRI.
