摘要: A process for separating and recovering bituminous material from tar sand other viscous petroleum deposits, either in-situ or after mining the deposits. The may also apply to heavy oil wells secondary tertiary recovery of wells. bituminous-containing matter is contacted within a confined space with vapors halogenated, organic solvent, whereby separates matter. accumulates at bottom recovered therefrom.
