摘要: Abstract Historic buildings that comprise the cultural heritage of humanity are in need preservation on a worldwide scale regard to degradation resultant from atmospheric pollutants. The Brazilian Public Market, located historic center mega city Sao Paulo, is object this research, due its representation historical architecture. general objective manuscript analyze influence air pollutants Paulo Market Brazil. Methodologically, between May 2018 and April 2019, samples sedimented dust were collected at five points side walls market’s structure, for analysis accumulated ultrafine particles (UFPs) nanoparticles (NPs). A total 20 particulate matter using self-made passive samplers (SMPSs). Using SMPSs, 12 months accumulation deposition used sample PM1. results demonstrate presence dangerous elements such as: As, Cd, Cr, Pb, Zn. Note EDS coupled with microscopy techniques, out risks human health, these accumulate building’s structure. show 85% NPs sampled contained 56% Pb Ti, which harmful both health. Air pollution enables further deterioration restoration.
