摘要: In autism spectrum disorders (ASD), social motivation theories suggest that the core communication problems seen in children with ASD arise from diminished responsiveness to reward. Although clinical and experimental data support these theories, extent which reward deficit is unique for rewards remains unclear. With present investigation, we aimed provide insight into degree sociality as well familiarity of incentives impact motivated goal-directed behavior ASD. To do so, directly compared influence familiar versus unfamiliar relative nonsocial, monetary age- IQ-matched typically developing controls (TDC) using a visual auditory incentive go/nogo task contingencies successful response inhibitions. We found responded stronger than TDC. While are at odds predictions made by individual variations beyond diagnosis, such exposure across various settings, help explain pattern results.
