摘要: Abstract A novel antifouling coating based on the polymerization of a polymerisable bicontinuous microemulsion (PBM) was developed and applied for commercially available membranes textile wastewater treatment. PBM produced by polymerizing, polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, microemulsion, realized finely tuning its properties in terms chemical composition temperature. In particular, prepared using, as surfactant component, inexpensive dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB). The exhibited more hydrophilic smoother surface comparison to uncoated PES surface, making resistant less prone be affected fouling. anti-fouling potential assessed using humic acid (HA) model foulant, evaluating water permeability decrease an indicator fouling propensity membranes. membrane performances dye rejection, when treatment, were also evaluated compared commercial ones. finally successfully scaled-up (total area 0.33 m2) pilot bioreactor (MBR) unit treatment real wastewater.
