摘要: This article examines the interaction between geographic scale and ways of knowing in context collaborative stakeholder participation ecosystem analysis management. The examination uses data from a qualitative comparative case study two watershed councils western Oregon. results tentatively support proposition that can significantly affect individual knowing. For small-scale places, tend to be particularistic rely on diverse personal experiences specific place features; for large-scale aesthetic primarily recreational scientific analyses.
