摘要: A thermochemical conversion (TCC) process was applied to the treatment of swine manure slurry for oil production and waste reduction. The objectives first stage study were explore feasibility oil production from determine reduction rates through TCC process. bench reactor was developed tested at operating temperatures 275°C 350°C. corresponding pressures ranged from 5.5 18 MPa. Carbon monoxide used as a reducing agent from 0.34 2.76 product was evaluated by element analysis, heating value, benzene solubility. rate evaluated in terms of chemical oxygen demand (COD) before after highest yield 76.2% total volatile solids feedstock. hydrogen carbon molar ratio 1.53. had similar quality that of pyrolysis oils liquefaction other biomass such wood sludge newspaper waste. average value of the estimated 34 940 kJ/kg. COD post-processed water reduced as much 75.4%. dioxide sole detected gaseous by-product. solid by-product process was only 3.3% solids input weight.
