摘要: Abstract Objectives To evaluate the machinability and flexural strength of a novel dental machinable glass-ceramic (named PMC), to compare property with that Vita Mark II human enamel. Methods The raw batch materials were selected mixed. Four groups glass-ceramics formed at different nucleation temperatures, assigned Group 1, 2, 3 4. four glass-ceramics, ceramic freshly extracted premolars compared by means drilling depth measurement. A three-point bending test was used measure glass-ceramics. crystalline phases group best identified X-ray diffraction. Results In terms depth, 2 proves have largest depth. There no statistical difference among 4 natural teeth. MK statistically less than had least respect strength, exhibited maximum strength; 1 weaker 2; there between 4, they weakest materials. XRD showed new type containing calcium-mica been developed present study named PMC. Conclusions PMC is promising for application as due its good relatively high strength.
