摘要: Acyl-CoA oxidase is a major induced enzyme in peroxisomes of Candida tropicalis grown on fatty acids. The gene, POX4, encoding acyl-CoA was expressed vitro, and the resulting polypeptide imported into purified temperature-dependent fashion. Plasmids containing fragments POX4 were prepared, polypeptides tested for import peroxisomes. We identified two regions (amino acids 1-118 309-427) that contained information specifically targeted to corresponding gene fused cDNA cytosolic dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR), fusion proteins likewise DHFR itself neither bound to, nor Thus, there are at least peroxisomal targeting gene.
