Larvae and post-larvae of Penaeidae and Palaemonidae in coastal lagoons of the North of Rio de Janeiro (Macaé, RJ)

摘要: The northern part of the state Rio de Janeiro shelters many coastal lagoons, located, mostly, in "restinga" strip that stretches from municipality Macae to Quissama. During 1995 and 1996 samplings were made aiming verify diversity density Natantia larvae Imboassica, Cabiunas Comprida lagoons. monthly samples taken with a 500 µ net, horizontal drags boat. In lagoon no any family these crustaceans found. lagoon, autumn was season year greatest relative abundance, belonging only one genus: Macrobrachium. Imboassica Lagoon two situations related variation water level contact sea water: boat dragging when sandbar (the sand separates sea) closed, Macrobrachium sp. being found, seasonal detected, manual open closed conditions, region close sandbar. With open, post-larvae Penaeus paulensis P. brasiliensis abundances found months April/96 May/95.
