摘要: BACKGROUND Excessive daytime sleepiness is frequently reported as a symptom for OSA, leading to problems with concentration, mood and memory. MAD are considered an effective therapy control reducing EDS improving sleep quality. OBJECTIVES The present study aimed investigate the effects of mandibular advance device (MAD) on excessive (EDS) patients diagnosed obstructive apnea (OSA). METHODS Ten from Sleep Medicine Service "Hospital Geral Sanatorio" (Maceio, Alagoas, Brazil) were EDS, personalized was made each one them.
