摘要: Some individuals exhibit a weak satiety response to food and may be susceptible overconsumption. The current study identified women showing consistently low or high responses standardised servings of across four separate days compared them on behavioural, psychological physiological risk factors for overeating future weight gain. In crossover design, 30 female participants (age: 28.0 ± 10.6; body mass index (BMI): 23.1 3.0) recorded sensations hunger in the post-prandial period following graded energy level breakfasts. Satiety quotients were calculated compare responsiveness conditions. Body composition, resting metabolic rate (RMR), intake, reward craving, eating behaviour traits assessed under controlled laboratory A distinct phenotype (LSP) was with good consistency days. These had higher RMR, greater levels disinhibition reported feeling lower control over cravings. Further, they consumed more exhibited wanting high-fat food. inverse pattern characteristics observed those exhibiting (HSP). Weak is reliable trait identifiable using quotient. LSP characterised by behavioural indicating overeating, HSP.
