摘要: Abstract Objective The relationship between sleep and epilepsy is complex involves multiple mechanisms. Patients with (PWE) often report fatigue daytime sleepiness, are diagnosed comorbid disorders that thought to be a direct corollary of seizures, adverse effects antiepileptic drugs (AEDs), or combination these two factors. emergence depressive symptomatology in PWE can also lead decreases quality life. aim this study was investigate the quality, clinical characteristics, excessive sleepiness (EDS), fatigue, depression PWE. Methods Seventy-five consecutive were included study. Demographic data, type frequency treatment regimens, number seizures last 12 months, recorded. Sleep symptoms evaluated using Pittsburgh Quality Index (PSQI), Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), Epworth Sleepiness (ESS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), respectively. Results (43 females, 32 males) had mean age 31.3 ± 11 years, onset 18 ± 11.4 years, disease duration 13.2 ± 9.9 years.
