摘要: In this work, an approach based on thermodynamic analysis was proposed to assess and improve the energy efficiency of a debutanizer column. The is hinged application exergy analysis. Use made loss profiles obtained from Aspen Plus performance suggest suitable modification for improvement in column's efficiency. An assessment converged base case simulation indicated need more efficient operations. scheme splitting feed, preheating one placing two feeds at different stages range reduction total losses 12 21%. these retrofits 63 66% as compared value 58%. thus provide less imperfections cost.
