摘要: For this study, Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Thermal Emission Spectrometer (TES) emissivity data for Acidalia Planitia and Cydonia Mensae (Figure 1) were assembled used to examine the surface mineralogy of these areas. Analyzing TES high latitude locales such as presents a challenge since temperatures over regions is inherently lower than equatorial locales. In report, analyses are described results evaluated potential compositional evidence hydrovolcanic activity in Cydonia.
