摘要: Protein kinase C epsilon (PKCe) priming involves phosphorylation of the domain at 3 different sites. Whether these events were autocatalytic was unclear. Now Parker and colleagues use PKCe mutants inhibitors to demonstrate that occupancy nucleotide binding pocket, not catalytic activity, promote PKCe.
