摘要: The finite element (FE) method has been extensively used to model complex cutting processes. However, due large strains in a process zone, leading increased distortions, such simulations are confronted with numerical difficulties. Smooth-particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is mesh-free computational method, which simulate multi-body problems. In this paper we present 3D hybrid modelling approach for orthogonal micro-machining of copper single crystal the use SPH and continuum FE. implemented commercial FE software ABAQUS/Explicit. study gain insight into effects crystallographic anisotropy on machining response f.c.c. cubic metals.
