摘要: Background. Recipients of laparoscopically procured kidneys have been reported to delayed graft function, a slower creatinine nadir, and potential significant complications. As the technique has evolved laparoscopic donor nephrectomy is becoming gold standard for living donation. Study Design. We retrospectively reviewed data first 200 hand-assisted nephrectomies performed between January 2003 February 2009. The initial 41 donors their recipients (Group 1) were compared next 159 donors 2). estimated blood loss, serum at discharge 6 months, incidence function perioperative complications analyzed. Results. median 6 months was 1.2 mg/dL in each group. None procedures required conversion an open procedure, none donors transfusion. recipient after transplant No ischemic ureteral related seen. Conclusions. HALDN with meticulous surgical allows kidney procurement very low morbidity no mortality. This improved safety decreased invasiveness from approach may further decrease procedure increase organ
