摘要: Black radical politics are comprehensively defined and the aim is to understand how such a political ideology can be used overcome racial inequalities in contemporary Britain. A challenge mainstream theory within academy outlined, along with an interrogation of principle limitation thought, that essentialism cultural authenticity. To illustrate approach understood, position was applied schooling. radicalism argues for independent education. supplementary schools spaces organised by concerned members community offer extra teaching curricula also studies. These presented as potential school selected case study, where critical participatory ethnography undertaken. The researcher spent 7 months working teacher school, collecting extensive fieldnotes. Experiences programme revealed strengths relationships, diverse curriculum empowering nature environment students. number challenges arose including structure, coordination decline attendance. Overall, education exists movement.
