摘要: Vegetation dynamics during the Younger Dryas-Holocene transition in extreme northern taiga zone of Usa basin, northeastern European Russia, were reconstructed using plant macrofossil and pollen evidence from a sediment core Lake Llet-Ti. The stratigraphy Dryas (about 12 500–11 500 cal. yr BP) is characterized by types indicative treeless arctic vegetation, whereas shows occurrence scattered spruce birch trees around lake. Dryas-early Holocene rapid increase vegetation density, including an population, followed expansion population at about 10 000 BP. Dense spruce-birch forest dominated until 5000 Our results contribute to debate Lateglacial environments illustrate importance records reconstructions.
