摘要: Abstract A novel concept for the additive manufacturing of three-dimensional glass-ceramic scaffolds, to be used tissue engineering applications, was based on fine glass powders mixed with a reactive binder, in form commercial silicone. The consisted ‘silica-defective glass’ specifically designed react, upon firing air, amorphous silica yielded by binder. By incorporation, intended reach composition an already known CaO Na2O B2O3 SiO2 system. Silica from binder provided up 15 wt% total silica. With same overall formulation, silicone-glass powder mixtures led nearly phase assemblage formed reference system, crystallizing into wollastonite (CaSiO3) and Ca-borate (CaB2O4). Samples exhibited excellent shape retention after firing, which later exploited highly porous reticulated obtained means direct ink writing (DIW).
