摘要: Summary Anamnestic and immunological data of workers a platinum refinery (group A: with work-related symptoms, n= 8; group B: symptoms not clearly work-related, 9; C: asymptomatic workers, 13) controls D: atopies, 10; E: non-atopics, 16) were compared. Exposure to salt was higher in A than groups B or C. In A, developed 4 months (median) after the onset exposure. All subjects three B, but none other groups, showed positive cutaneous reaction (PtCl6)2−. Total serum IgE D C E.(PtCl6)2−-specific there non-specific binding (PtCl6)2− IgE. Histamine release found all highest atopic controls. histamine anti-IgE an excellent correlation, suggesting similar mechanism anti-IgE. skin-test subjects, high (PtCl6)2−-sensitivity is linked anti-IgE, supporting concept role cell surface IgE-Fc-receptor process salts. However, specificity reactions contrasts low in-vitro tests different basophils mast cells, when challenged free salts, hypothesized. We conclude that neither from nor RAST for detection specific are helpful diagnosis allergy.
