摘要: The advantages and positive effects of tightly coupled interface components on search performance have been documented in several studies. This paper focuses the implementation views within Media Watch Climate Change, an interactive Web portal (www.ecoresearch.net/climate) combining a portfolio semantic services with visual exploration information retrieval interface. builds contextualized spaces by (a) enriching content repository spatial, semantic, temporal annotations, (b) applying semi-automated ontology learning to yielding controlled vocabulary that helps structuring stored information. Different portlets visualize aspects spaces, providing user multiple available Currently, synchronized maps, domain ontologies, geographic tag clouds real-time agents suggesting similar topics nearby locations, provide users important context information, facilitate access complex datasets, help navigate large collections documents.
