USING CA-MARKOV MODEL TO MODEL THE SPATIOTEMPORAL CHANGE OF LAND USE/COVER IN FUXIAN LAKE FOR DECISION SUPPORT

摘要: Spatiotemporal modelling of land use/cover change (LUCC) has become increasingly important in recent years, especially for environmental and regional planning. There have been many approaches software packages LUCC, but developing a model specific region is still difficult task, because it requires large volume data input elaborate adjustment. Fuxian Lake watershed one the most ecological protection area China located southeast Kunming city, Yunnan province. In this paper, CA-Markov used to analyse spatiotemporal LUCC project its course into future. Specifically, uses high resolution remote sensing images 2006 2009 as data, then makes prediction 2014. A quantitative comparison with 2014 suggests an overall accuracy 88%. This method expected facilitate research cover use applications modelling.
