摘要: Among the planets of solar system, Jupiter is unique in connection with its size and large magnetic moment, second only to sun's. The Jovian field was first detected indirectly by radio astronomers who postulated existence explain observations nonthermal emissions from at decimetric decametric wavelengths. Since early astronomical studies magnetosphere, four spacecraft have flown planet close distances provided situ information about geometry strength. magnetosphere described terms three principal regions. inner region where created sources internal dominates. which equatorial currents flow denoted as middle magnetosphere. In outer has a southward component exhibits temporal and/or spatial variations magnitude direction response changes wind pressure.
