摘要: Eosinophils play an important role in the pathogenesis of allergic diseases, such as asthma. normally constitute only a few percent circulating leukocytes. Increased numbers eosinophils are found peripheral blood, tissues, and bronchoalveolar lavage asthma patients. In bone marrow multipotent stem cells can differentiate towards mature eosinophils, which is associated with expression specifi c genes, coding for e.g. granule proteins. A highly organised network required to coordinate these events maintain steady state levels cells, well stimulate rapid production cell types when needed. This thesis has focused on transcription factors involved regulation maturation human eosinophils. An ex-vivo differentiation model was developed study eosinophilopoiesis, during this process investigated. The findings were discussed respect hematopoietic fate decisions.
