Systematic Time Delay of Hemispheric Solar Activity

摘要: Five solar-activity indices - the monthly-mean sunspot numbers from January 1945 to March 2008, areas during period of May 1874 monthly groups flare 1966 December 2006, and solar filaments per Carrington rotation in time interval rotations 876 1823 have been used show a systematic delay between northern southern hemispheric activities cycle. It is found that activity does not occur synchronously hemispheres, there lag or lead (phase shift) About an eight-cycle inferred exist such phase shifts. The on Sun may be governed by two different coupled processes, single process.
