摘要: AbstractObjectives. The investigation of the pathophysiology bipolar disorder in patients at disease onset is a strategy to avoid confounding effect progression or duration treatment. Our purpose was investigate vivo neuronal metabolites hippocampus using proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) within 3 months after their first manic episode. Methods. Fifty-eight BD I meeting DSM-IV criteria following episode mania and 27 healthy subjects were studied 1H-MRS with 3.0 T Philips Achieva scanner. Voxels 30 × 15 mm placed on both sides brain signal collected PRESS sequence TE = 35 ms TR 2000 ms. Data analysis performed LC Model software. Results.
