摘要: The use of polyurethane foam is continuing to grow at a rapid pace throughout the world. This growth can be attributed their light weight, excellent strength/weight ratio, energy absorbing performance (including shock, vibration, and sound), comfort features foams (Klempner Frisch, 1991). Recently, there has been an increased interest in renewable resources plastics industry (Bhatnagar et al, 1993; Carraher Sperling, 1981; Cunningham Carr, 1990; 1991, 1992a, 1992b; Donnelly 1991; Yoshida 1987 1990). In addition, many patents covering processes for utilizing plant components preparation have issued recent years (Dosmann Steel, 1961; Hostettler, 1979; Kennedy, 1985; Otey 1968). However, most these studies focused on rigid foam. Less attention paid flexible system. Corn starch raw material. As carbohydrate, it contains active hydrogens hydroxyl groups. Thus, great opportunity exists using corn modify or improve physical chemical properties foams.
