摘要: Purpose: There are few studies that have focused on the predictors of recurrence after gastrectomy for gastric carcinoma. This study analyzed patients who died recurrent carcinoma and we attempted to clarify clinicopathologic factors associ-ated with timing recurrence. Materials Methods: From June 1992 March 2009, 1,795 underwent curative resection at Department Surgery, Hanyang University College Medicine. Among them, 428 311 these gas-tric were enrolled in this study. The findings compared between 72 within one year (the early group) 92 3 years late group). Results: Compared group, group showed an older age, a more advanced stage, poorly differ-entiated type cancer significantly higher tendency lymphatic invasion, vascular invasion perineural invasion.Especially stage (stage III IV), was characterized by preoperative serum carcino embryonic antigen level, relatively small number dissected lymph nodes. Conclusions: characteristics different according disease, even same stage. For detection surgery, it is important recognize clinicopathologi-cal foretell high risk It mandatory make individualized surveillance schedule clinico-pathologic factors.Key Words: Stomach neoplasms, Gastrectomy, Recurrence
