摘要: A cohesive zone finite element model for quasi-static fracture of piezoelectric polycrystals is proposed. Interface elements are used to both inter- and transgranular fracture. Electromechanical constitutive relations derived by enhancing commonly mechanical traction-opening laws with a parallel plate capacitor. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the proposed correctly mimics several experimentally observed phenomena. Most importantly switch from mainly intergranular increasing grain size modelled correctly. The also influence an electric field on ultimate load.
