Relationship between neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio and epicardial fat tissue thickness in patients with newly diagnosed hypertension.

摘要: Objective Epicardial fat tissue thickness (EFT) and the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are associated with atherosclerosis. Few studies have focused on relationship between these parameters in patients newly diagnosed hypertension. In this study, we examined EFT NLR hypertension detected by 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM). Methods Eighty consecutive without chronic illness who were according to ABPM results 80 otherwise healthy subjects enrolled study. of each participant was measured echocardiographically. The C-reactive protein (CRP) concentration from venous samples. Results average systolic significantly higher group than control (143±17 vs. 117±7 mmHg, respectively). There no significant differences age, sex, or body mass index two groups. EFT, NLR, CRP group. Additionally, a positive correlation found both Conclusion A subjects.
