摘要: OBJECTIVE Nonsurgical hypoparathyroidism (NS-HypoPT) and pseudohypoparathyroidism (PHP) are rare diseases, with a prevalence of 2/100.000 1/100.000, respectively. Only few studies on Quality Life (QoL) among patients Ns-HypoPT PHP available. We aimed to investigate the QoL including information about education. DESIGN A cohort study identified from previously epidemiological study. PATIENTS Fifty seven 30 PHP. MEASUREMENTS The well-validated questionnaires SF-36v2 WHO-5 Well Being Index. Results compared norm-based material, disease-specific material postsurgical HypoPT RESULTS: SF36v2 showed significantly reduced score in all eight subdomains NS-HypoPT population. scored lower five subdomains. Females were more affected than males. Compared HypoPT, compatible at most domains. At domains Physical Function, Social Function Mental Health, (Pall  < .05). Component Score, had (P < .01). overall Index was comparable between groups (P = .45). No differences seen comparing (P = .68) or (P = .67). below 28 indicates depression (NS-HypoPT=7; PHP=3, P = .71), whereas 28-50 suggesting poor emotional well-being (NS-HypoPT=19; PHP=5, P = .13). remaining above 50 well-being. CONCLUSION is impaired equally
