摘要: Background: Triage of trauma patients is particularly important. Correct triage can reduce the rate mortality and prevent disability in patients. Objectives: The current study aimed at comparing frequency miss using two methods namely emergency severity index (ESI) shock index, with abdominal trauma. Methods: Trauma referring to Shahid Rajaee hospital, were included as population. A census survey was conducted for three months. Data collected by a demographic questionnaire, five-level system checklist, form based on index. Content validity questionnaire confirmed experts Patients simultaneously evaluated both ESI methods. level each method compared approved an clinician. analyzed SPSS version 18. Results: Based ESI, 6.3% under-triaged 2.7% over-triaged; but 36.2% 19.2% over-triaged. There positive correlation between final score triage. Moreover, coefficient higher than that (r = 0.834 vs. r 0.162). Conclusions: According results, be used auxiliary tool traumatic departments.
