摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Embryo implantation remains the limiting factor in assisted reproduction outcomes. To date research has mainly focused on improving embryo quality, numbers and selection as route to improve treatment results. However, with success rates plateauing, interest possibility of modulating endometrial is increasing, a number biomarkers are now available that offer assessing function. RECENT FINDINGS In this review, we review recent evidence for efficacy these biomarkers, emphasis those aim enable improvement embryo/endometrial developmental synchrony endometrium an assessment degree immune activation endometrium. The emerging field reproductive tract microbiome analysis also considered. Finally, nascent materno-foetal dialogue, including noncoding RNAs, microvesicles glycans discussed. SUMMARY Tests potential clinical value emerging, but further validation studies required. usage innovative provides targeted therapies rather than blind empirical approaches face failure. It enables randomized controlled trials interventions targeting individual cause treatments undiagnosed recurrent
