摘要: Induced abortion may be desired during a normal or abnormal pregnancy. The methods of induced differ between species mainly because different sources for progesterone production pregnancy and within according to stages gestation. In cows buffaloes, can effectively terminated from 5 150 days by administration luteolytic doses prostaglandin F2 alpha (PG). From onwards till term bovine bubaline pregnancies safely combination PG dexamethasone. During the last month in these two species, successfully using either goats entire gestation prostaglandins. sheep up 55 100 µg cloprostenol 10-12 mg dinoprost. day onward termination requires single multiple injections Early (day 5-34) mare achieved physical PG. same treatment is effective terminating 35-120 but repeated are required endometrial cups continue exist couple after termination, mares do not return estrus prolonged periods. equine 4 months difficult term. results corticosteroids suboptimal manual disruption fetus dilation cervix with PGE2 creams more reliable method termination.
