摘要: A rotating black hole threaded by an infinitely long cosmic string is studied in the framework of Abelian Higgs model. We show that contrary to a common belief, presence rotation backreaction does not induce simple conical deficit. This leads new distinct features Kerr--string system such as modified ISCO or shifted ergosphere, though these effects are likely outside range observational precision. For extremal hole, exhibits first-order phase transition for gravitational Meissner effect: whereas horizon large holes pierced vortex, small exhibit flux-expelled solution, with gauge and scalar field remaining identically their false vacuum state on event horizon. brief review prepared MG14 Proceedings.
