摘要: A finger sensor for a pulse oximetry system is provided having body of flexible, resilient polymeric material formed as pocket. On the inside walls pocket toward closed end are LED light source and an opposing photodetector. The space within transverse to longitudinal dimension exhibits relatively smaller width greater width. As inserted into with fingertip between photodetector, expands decreases. This expansion decrease dimensions resisted by material, causing containing photodetector securely contact retain preferably comprises major adjoined on sides expansive side panels which expand contract engage fingers varying sizes.
