摘要: Due to coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) prevailing in more than 210 countries, out of them only few have promulgated lockdown and on March 24, 2020 India also implemented for 21 days prevent the community spread virus among people. Since then, heavily restricts travel movements flights, rail, intercity bus services besides industrial activity halt throughout country. The significant improvement air quality Delhi region was observed due strict implementation lockdown. During period, ambient helped us circumventing spread. preliminary results showing decrease horizontal advection pollutants has given an opportunity understand background concentrations over Delhi. To analyse this peculiar situation, we assessed datasets collected by twelve different online monitoring stations (AQMS) Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), New Delhi, a colossal quality. analysis data confirms sharp decline (nearly 200%) PM2.5 PM10. concentration nitrous oxides (NOx), recorded its maximum (342 ppb) 12 January CRRI–Mathura Road, with lowest value as 24 ppb 30 (reduced nearly 14 times peak value). In triad infectious disease, role environment is not linked better however, ground reality cannot be ignored around receives, maintains, protects transports aetiological agents host polluted which makes our lungs susceptible viral attacks. Therefore, cleaner would prove effective measure reduce transmission infections.
