摘要: Abstract Background Inflammation and malnutrition play a critical role in the outcomes of patients undergoing carotid artery stenting (CAS). Prognostic nutritional index (PNI) is commonly utilized to evaluate peri-operative immune-nutritional status colorectal cancer surgery independently associated with survival. We assessed association between status, indexed by PNI, CAS patients. Methods A total 615 hospitalized for tertiary heart center were enrolled study. PNI was calculated using following formula: 10× serum albumin value (g/dL) + 0.005 × lymphocyte count peripheral blood (per mm3). In-hospital 5-year (ipsilateral stroke, major transient ischemic attack, myocardial infarction, mortality) compared tertiles PNI. Results similar groups except increased mortality decreasing During mean follow-up duration 51.1 months, lower tertile related unfavorable outcomes. After adjusting multi-model Cox regression analysis, persisted as an independent prognostic factor stroke. Conclusion long-term stroke Malnutrition inflammation, which can be easily quickly have important CAS.
